From playful imagination to collective fiction, to perhaps actual transformations?​

In the Plurality University’s work, e.g. on <a href="https://www.plurality-university.org/projects/moving-on-moving-up-moving-away" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">mobility</a> and <a href="https://www.plurality-university.org/projects/lentreprise-qui-vient" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">corporations</a>, we have been using speculative fiction in order to get groups of diverse stakeholders to imagine radically alternative possibilities for the future, and project themselves into them.The method was co-designed with <a href="https://twitter.com/k_tastrof" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ketty Steward</a>, science fiction writer, poet, and psychologist.In this workshop facilitated by Ketty, we will experiment with word associations, collective worldbuilding, disbelief suspension, and the creation of “mosaïc” but coherent and surprising narratives of the future. And we will reflect on how these playful moments can be conducive to real transformations.This workshop is part of the “Collective Creative Practices for Transformation” project, within <a href="https://www.plurality-university.org/projects/narratopias" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Narratopias</a>.
